Sacred Valley full day tour
Just 17 miles (27 km) from Cusco lies the Sacred Valley of the Incas, nestled along the banks of the Urubamba River. Known for its breathtaking landscapes and fertile lands, this valley was once the heart of Inca agriculture and is still home to vibrant communities today.
On this journey, you’ll explore the impressive ruins of Pisac and stroll through its colorful artisan market. We’ll then pause in Urubamba for a delicious lunch before continuing to the ceremonial fortress of Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town that preserves its ancient layout. Finally, we’ll visit Chinchero, once an Inca center for astronomy and lunar worship, where tradition and history blend seamlessly with stunning views of the Andes.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel around 7:00 am to begin our journey to the Sacred Valley, located just 17 miles (27 km) from Cusco. Afterwards, we’ll head down to the town’s lively artisan market, the perfect place to shop for beautiful local crafts.

What will you visit on this tour?

Pisac Artisan Market
Just 45 minutes from Cusco lies the charming town of Pisac, where a vibrant artisan fair takes place daily around the main square. Here you’ll discover unique handmade pieces crafted by local artisans—textiles, jewelry, paintings, weavings, coats, ornaments, and much more. It’s the perfect place to find a memorable souvenir from your journey
Pisac Archaeological Site
Perched high above the town, this religious, agricultural, and military center showcases the grandeur of Inca architecture. Its remarkable preservation allows you to admire temples, ceremonial platforms, and impressive agricultural terraces that highlight the ingenuity of the Inca civilization.
Ollantaytambo
Located about 50 miles (80 km) from Cusco, Ollantaytambo is one of the most important archaeological sites of the Inca culture. Built under the rule of Inca Pachacutec, its massive stones—some over 13 feet tall—were transported from quarries 4 miles away. This ceremonial and military complex, whose name derives from “Ullanwtawi” meaning “to look down” or “viewpoint,” also features striking agricultural terraces.
Chinchero
Chinchero is home to the Church of Our Lady of Monserrat, built between 1572 and 1607 on the foundations of Inca Tupac Yupanqui’s palace. Inside, you’ll find remarkable paintings, including depictions of the puma defeating the serpent—symbolizing the battles of Pumacahua and Tupac Amaru II—as well as works by Diego Quispe Tito and Francisco Chillihuani. The church’s baroque altar, richly decorated with gold leaf, is another highlight not to be missed.
